For over twenty five years, the principals of Ceres AIG have had outstanding careers exclusively focused on; managing, sales & trading, and analyzing & constructing alternative investments portfolios for family offices and high net worth individuals.
Named for the statue of Ceres – The Goddess of Grain – who has kept watch over Chicago’s famed agriculture & financial district on LaSalle street, the Ceres AIG website was created to be a RESEARCH RESOURCE.
As a Multi Family Office (“MFO”), we truly enjoy learning from discussions with others. Hearing of their challenges, and together, thinking of new perspectives and unique solutions.
Education is key to growing a knowledge and comfort level in regards to the adoption of strategies within the alternative investment space. We strive daily to be an active and trusted participant in that endeavor, and hope this website can be a useful research resource.
Like our MFO, every investor has their own goals. Before an investment thesis can be considered, one has to understand one’s personal risk tolerance and investment objectives.
When evaluating managers and their strategies, our first objective is to determine and understand areas of risk and a definable edge. We utilize experienced managers that have unique approaches and that have been tested in multiple market environments. We discover potential managers through a global network of contacts developed over our careers and by applying persistent research and analysis.
